EVENT DESCRIPTION
This workshop is part of the Rogers Free Library series, Job Strategies for Challenging Times, funded through a grant from the Friends of the Rogers Free Library.
This workshop will help both students and professionals understand how to turn an idea into an enterprise. This workshop will use real stories and case studies to illustrate how one can leverage the power of a corporate job to gain enough traction to create enterprise.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES: By the end of the workshop, attendees will learn how to:
- Identify opportunities, marshal resources and take actionable steps to start a “Side Hustle”.
- Identify ways to leverage professional and personal network & resources to fuel their dreams.
- Balance your day job and your entrepreneurial activities
